| Women On Mission Women on Mission is an organization under WMU (Women's Missionary Union). They meet once a quarter. You may call or e-mail the church office for details of their next meeting. Take a look at the Women on Mission Web Site: www.womenonmission.com The women are involved in many areas of ministry in our community. Take a look at the list of groups. Perhaps you will find a place to serve. Community Service League--Food drive Forest Avenue Shelter (Homeless shelter in Kansas City)-- Provide meals for the shelter every other month. Missouri Baptist Children's Home--Provide items as needed. Promote the annual fundraiser, Apple Festival in September. Rachel House Crisis Pregnancy Center--Supports the pro-life agenda with helping in the annual golf tournament, provides baskets for mothers-to-be. Truckers Ministry--Supplies truckers with Bibles and a Christian magazine at the truck stops in Oak Grove. Mission Emphasis--Coordinates the three Southern Baptist Mission efforts throughout the year: Missouri Missions, Annie Armstrong Easter Offering for North American Missions, Lottie Moon Christmas Offering for International Missions.
