Randy Messer
has
been serving as pastor of First Baptist Church, Oak Grove since June 1993. He was born in
Amarillo, Texas and has a great love for his home state. Randy began his ministry at the
age of 16 when he started preaching. He was licensed when he was 18 and ordained at age
25.
Randy worked with the Southern Baptist Convention at Boys Ranch Town in Edmond, Oklahoma. He has ministered in churches in Oklahoma, Missouri and Texas since 1976. Randy has been on numerous mission trips including Central America, Mexico, U.S., Orient, and Eastern Europe.
Randy is married to Rebecca and they have 3 children, Erin Rose, Luke Henry, and Levi Justin. Randy has a heartfelt love for Christ. He enjoys playing tennis and fishing. His favorite thing is sharing the Gospel, spending time with his family and leading the church to influence the world for Christ.
Randy’s prayer for the church is Colossians 1:9-10a"For this reason we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and ask that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; that you may walk worthy of the Lord."

Bret Pritchard
was born in Oklahoma,
and spent his school years
in Oklahoma, Texas, Arkansas and Kansas. He entered the ministry when he was 20 years old.
Bret was licensed and ordained in Antioch Southern Baptist Church in Harrisonville,
Missouri, where he served for 14 years before coming to First Baptist Church, Oak Grove.
Bret has been a member of our staff since June 1995 and co-ordinates our education and mission efforts. He is married to Julie and they have two boys: Devin and Trent. His favorite activity is any activity with his family.
Matthew 20: 25-28 is Bret’s motivation to minister.
Jesus called them together and said, "You know that the rulers of the Gentiles
lord it over them, and their high officials exercise authority over them. Not so with you.
Instead, whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant, and whoever wants
to be first must be your slave—just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but
to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many."

Jeff joined us as our Music and Worship Pastor on March 7, 2010. His biography and mug shot are coming soon!
Stephen comes to us from New Orleans, LA, where he began his seminary studies. He plans to continue his seminary work here at Midwestern Baptist Seminary in Kansas City. Stephen was initially called to the ministry at the age of fifteen at a summer youth camp in Arkansas. Since that time he has had a passion for teaching students God's Word. Susan Culbertson is our Children's Ministry Coordinator. Susan joined the FBC staff in July 2009 after serving in a similar role as a volunteer for several years. Susan passion is to see children and their families grow together in their relationships with Christ.
