Hey OG, It’s me again. The first day of construction was really good. I’m sure you guys all looked at the pictures. We painted the whole entire sanctuary, but thankfully nobody got hurt. After that we went to Celebration City and did our variety show for everybody that walked by. Then Brandon let us loose to go ride all the carnival rides and witness to everybody that would let us talk to them. We got to talk to a lot of people about Christ and spread the word.
The second day at construction we painted the foyer and the kitchen at their church. It looks like a completely new building now. Nobody got hurt in the process of doing that either. We went back and ate lunch and headed out for the Grand Village. We got there and did our variety show and we had a way better turnout than the day before. I got to look like an idiot in front of everybody when I did the chair routine. If my dad can get the video of it y’all can watch it. Chair Routine Then we went to one of the coolest restaurants that I’ve ever been to. The waiters and waitresses sing to you and a lot of people in our youth group got really embarrassed. We had a really cool devotion that night where everyone got to share their experiences with the group. It was an awesome day.
Today was a really cool day. At the construction site we got to finish the kitchen and paint this storage room thingy. It was fun. Every one else was on the out side painting the perimeter of the church, and Andy went crazy with the spray gun that we got. Later that day we went to the vacation bible school thing and did our variety show. The kids really enjoyed it. Later we’re going to eat at Bob Evans and chow down some food, and then we’re going to go to the College of the Ozarks to have a time of sharing with the other youth groups. Well that’s about it with me so I’ll update you guys in a couple of days.
