Greetings,

That was a wonderful send off from the church this morning.  We really appreciate the prayer and spiritual support from a church family that has such an emphasis on missions.

At last we are on our way.  Students are excited, nervous, anxious and ready to get the show on the road.  I am riding in the red church van.  Rich T. is at the wheel and we are leading the convoy.  I can feel the excitement from the back of the van.  There are a few seventh graders that are such a good illustration of how excited we should all be about being on mission.

We made our first stop, Lowery City, Conoco Quik Stop.  The bathroom line was quite long, but we got in and out in pretty good time.  We hope everyone made it back to a vehicle before we pulled away.  Don’t worry moms, we did a head count.

I heard several youth and adults talking about handing out tracks at the stop.  This mission is truly in swing.  We can learn a lot from our youth.  They have such an  uninhibited enthusiasm that can be contagious.

Thoughts from the red van:

Rachel M.:  I’m excited and nervous.  I can’t wait to get there and start.

Lauren:  I’m pumped and ready.  Show me the people and I will show them God!

Morgan:  I’m happy and excited to show people that teens can worship the Lord.

Amanda:  I’m so ready for this week.  I think this will be fun.

Michael (Ice man): I hope to lead some people to the Lord over the week and do work on our sister church.

We arrived in Branson around 4 pm.  Everyone is doing great.  It is going to be a great trip.  We are looking forward to performing at Bridge of  Faith Baptist Church in Rockaway Beach this evening.

God Bless and please continue to pray for us.  Thanks!
