Don't you know, sugar melts when it gets wet. Come on chickens! Get in! Let's have a race!
The dog-paddling race is on!
The rules of the game are...
Our evening devotions opened up with Andrea leading us singing praises to the Lord through song.
As Bro. Randy said it in our devotion, what better way to begin our mission trip than by reading the original commission from Christ Himself.
Brother Randy led the following devotions: Matthew 28:18-20 The Great Commission Mark 1:14-18 Mark 2:13-17 Mark 3:13-19 1Corinthians 12:1-11 Spiritual Gifts Joshua 23-6-11 Missions don’t end even though our trip has Nehemiah 1:4-11 Go home and rebuild
Our daily devotions focused on what it meant to live missions as a lifestyle. Each day we studied scripture that pertained to the topic of the day, such as day one focused on missions itself and what God’s purpose of what missions are all about. Day two focused on compassion and what it means to us as Christians. Day three was on witnessing and its results.
Scripture for each day: One—Missions: Matthew 28:18-20 Luke 24:46-48 John 20: 21 Two—Compassion: Luke 10:25-37 Three—Witnessing: Acts 2:42-47
Our devotion packets were compiled by our very own, Kara Haase. Thanks Kara for taking the time out to prepare these for us!
