Traveling -- Sunday, June 25th
After a great send-off from family and others (including some awesome goody bags packed for us by Voices of Praise – THANK YOU CHOIR!) we got on the road about 10 minutes behind schedule. With only two quick stops scheduled, everybody moved quick and we were able to make up that time without having to travel faster.
As you can see {go here to see travel video} we are plenty comfortable and enjoying the time together on the bus. It did get a little warm, and after a late-night trip to the store to get a test kit, Rich and Gabe determined the problem to be something other than just low refrigerant. A call has been made to the bus company, we’ll see how that turns out…
The congregation at FBC Pauls Valley went way above the call of duty and we enjoyed a sub sandwich dinner that was ready when we arrived. After dinner we had about 30 minutes of rehearsal. You can see some video {here}but we can’t put the audio up on the web due to copyright stuff. And, just in case you think it looks a little strange, we sped it up to 2x speed just so it didn't last so long. Then there was just enough time for a time of worship and a devotion. Breakfast is also being provided by the church here…7:30 just in time before we roll-out!
